Creating a Gig

Significant: You can make your Gigs (and vender account) on computer/PC.

 
  1. Log in > Switch to Selling > Gigs
  2. Click My Profile > Create a New Gig

 

Step 1: Gig summary

Gig Title

  • Make sure your title is succinct, obvious, and direct.
  • Customers should be able to tell right away what kind of service you provide.
  • You can start with "I will" on Fiverr.

Category

  • From the drop-down menu, choose the category and subcategory that are relevant for your Gig. Depending on your title, Fiverr suggests these.
  • After your Gig is published, you won't be able to change the category, so make sure it corresponds with the services you're offering.

Service Type

  • To guarantee that you show up in the search results for the category you chose, select a service type.

Gig Placement

  • Choose the marketplace or markets you want to promote your gig on.

Gig Metadata

  • Choose the pertinent standards for each topic.

Search Tags

  • Describe your gig in 1 to 5 words or phrases.
  • the Save & Continue button

 

Step 2: Dimensions and cost

Name your package

  • In the space provided, describe your offering in detail.

Arrival Time

  • Choose the number of days you'll need to finish your Gig using the drop-down.
  • Choose the numerous features you want to offer as part of your service (Extras).

Revisions

  • The number of revisions you include in your Gig can be chosen using the drop-down menu.
  • Although it is not required, doing this is advised for gigs that involve customization or creation.

Price

  • Choose a fee for your service that is between $5 and the maximum allowed for your type of gig.
  • You can choose to create three packages in some categories by clicking 3 Packages or Try Now. When customers reach the checkout page, you can offer them your personalized supplementary services if you develop three bundles.

Extra Services

You can choose to complete your Gig Extra Fast and charge extra for it.



Set Extra Fast Delivery as desired:


My Gig Extras > Extra quick shipping.

Choose how many days you'll need to deliver.

Decide how much more you will charge and set the price.

Note: If you choose Extra Fast Delivery, the time frame specified in your Extra Services is cancelled out by the number of days needed for Extra Fast Delivery. The delivery window must be less than the window for the normal Gig.

You can add other services to your gig that the customer might choose from when placing an order (Optional).


To provide Extras: 

  1. My Gig Extras > Select from the list of items.
  2. Click Add Gig Extra > Complete a title (mandatory), description, price, and how long it will take you.

 

Step 3: Description and FAQ

Description

  • Describe your gig in detail (up to 1,200 characters).
  • Be as thorough as you can so that customers may decide whether your gig suits their demands.
  • Only add URLs that are on Fiverr's approved list when adding one.
  • Never include your contact details
  • FAQ
  • Include responses to the most frequently asked questions (limit of 8 FAQs)
  • Your Gig page includes a link to your FAQs.
  • Adding FAQ
  • Select Add FAQ. Include a query you anticipate buyers will have.
  • Give your response.
  • Select Add Continue and Save

 

Step 4: Requirements

Your opportunity to tell buyers what you need in order to start on their order. 
  1. Type in the specifics of your request. Question Types:
  2. No cost text: Customers may submit original writing.
  3. Answer fields with multiple choices will be visible.
  4. Buyers must choose from the options you offer, many solutions. You can accept multiple responses.
  5. Answer must be marked if you require a particular piece of information.
  6. After setting your buyer's needs, click Add, then click Save & Continue.
  7. Note: You can upload and attach files up to 5GB in size.

 

Step 5: Gallery

Images

  • Gigs must have at least one image uploaded in order to be published:

  • Drag an image or go to Browse. Pick an image


  • General image standards:

  • Upload up to three photographs that best represent your gig. The images can be illustrations or other examples of your work (at 72 DPI)
  • 712 x 430 is the minimum image size (at 72 DPI)
  • a maximum of 4000 x 2416 pixels (at 72 DPI)
  • If you want to resize an image, utilise Preview on a Mac or Photo Gallery on a Windows computer.
  • There are additional free resources online.
  • You must be the sole owner of all photographs. Use of photos with copyrights or photographs downloaded from the internet will prevent your Gig from being authorized.


Videos

adding a video


  • Drag a video or choose it from the menu.
  • For the Video & Animation category, this field must be filled out.
  • A video that you add will be utilised as the thumbnail rather than a Gig image.
  • Guidelines for general videos:
  • Your video should not last more than 75 seconds.
  • Verify that your video is no more than 50 MB.
  • Never include your contact details in the video for your Gig.
  • Recommendation: Mention that Fiverr is the only place where your services are available.

Audio

Including audio:


  • Drag an audio file or browse to find one.
  • Note: Not all categories have this option.

  • Basic audio principles:

  • MP3 and MPEG are supported file types.
  • Verify that your audio doesn't last more than 3:30 minutes.
  • Ensure that your audio is no more than 10 MB.

PDF

Add a PDF here:


  • Drag a PDF file or browse to find one.
  • general PDF specifications
  • You may send up to two PDF documents.
  • This field is not required.
  • Your PDF's first three pages will only be shown.

 

After you have completed steps 1-5

Step 6: Publish

To promote and publish your Gig:

  • To publish a gig, click.
  • Check out the social media platforms where you can advertise your gig > Select an icon, then enter the information.
  • Select "Done"

Editing a Gig

To make any changes and edit your Gig:

  1. Log in > Gigs.
  2. Find the Gig you'd like to edit > From the drop-down list on the right > Edit.
  3. Make changes > Save.
